Open the sheet from your dashboard and select Edit details. You can change the event title, organizer display, contact details, description, date, time, location, and other event details after publishing. The changes appear on the public signup page right away.

- Open the sheet from your dashboard.
- Select Edit details.
- Make the changes you need.
- Select Save changes.
The public link stays the same, and later visitors see the saved details. On a single-day sheet, edit the date, Start time (optional), and Location directly. On a multi-day sheet, the form uses Default start time (optional) and Default location (optional), then lets you expand Event days to edit a date's time or location independently.
Changing a multi-day date moves every slot on that day, and volunteer reminders follow the new date. A day's own time and location replace the defaults for that day. If you are still setting up the dates, follow the multi-day sign up sheet instructions.
What happens to existing signups
Changing the event details does not send an update to people who already signed up. Use the sheet's volunteer messaging option or contact people another way when they need to know about a change. Calendar entries that volunteers have already added are not automatically updated. The private edit links volunteers already received continue to work.
To change sheet options rather than event details, open Sheet settings on the sheet. That area includes volunteer-facing tools such as waitlists, names, and reminder emails. For a quick check of the public result, select Share, then Preview page; see share a sign up sheet link or QR code.
You cannot save a slot capacity below its current claim count. Remove enough signups first, then save the lower capacity. See set spot limits for the full capacity behavior.
