Use a multi-day sheet when volunteers can sign up for the same event across several dates, such as a tournament, camp, or recurring service schedule. Each day has its own slots and roster, while one public link covers the full schedule.
Choose the dates
- From the dashboard, select Create a sheet and choose Create a blank sheet or a template.
- In Event details, select + Multiple dates next to Date.
- Enter a Start date and End date.
- Review the generated date list. Each selected date is included in the schedule.
- Select a date in the list to remove it, or select it again to restore it. Include all dates restores every date in the range.
Multi-day sheets can include up to 60 selected dates. The range can span no more than one year. You can include weekdays and one-off dates together; the date list is the source of truth for the schedule.
If the end date is before the start date, the page asks you to fix the range. If there are no selected dates, or the selection is over 60 dates, correct the date list before publishing. The page also warns when the range is more than one year.
Set defaults and per-day details
Enter Default time for all days and Location in Event details when most dates share the same information. The default time applies to every day unless you set a different time.
In Sign-up slots, select a date tab. The day header shows time and location controls:
- Select Add time or the clock control to set a time only for that date.
- Select Add location or the location control to set a location only for that date.
- Leave an override blank to use the event default. A day showing Event default is inheriting the sheet-wide value.
Per-day overrides affect that date only. They do not change the default for the rest of the schedule.
Add slots for each day
- Select a date tab in Sign-up slots.
- Choose Add sign-up slot for something volunteers bring, or Add time shift for a timed shift.
- Enter the slot title and Spots, then add any instructions or slot options.
- Repeat for every selected date.
Every selected day needs at least one slot before you can publish. If a day has no slots, the publish message names that day so you can add a slot or remove the date.
Copy a day's slots
When the active day has at least one complete slot and there is another selected day, select Copy slots.
- In Copy slots to other dates, select the dates that should receive the copies, or select Select all.
- Review the number of slots being added.
- Select Copy slots.
Existing slots on destination dates remain; copies are added underneath them. Copied slots can be edited independently. Signups are not copied, so each day's roster starts with its own open spots.
If Copy slots is disabled, finish the active day's slot titles, quantities, and required details first. If a destination already has slots, the dialog warns that the copies will be added without replacing them.
Publish and manage the schedule
Complete the rest of the sheet settings, then select Publish Sheet. Volunteers use the same public page and choose a day before selecting a slot. Reminders follow each volunteer's scheduled day.
After publishing, you can edit event details, per-day time or location, and individual slots without changing the public link. Changing a date moves every slot on that day; see edit a published sign up sheet. For volunteer behavior on the public page, see what volunteers see on a sign up sheet.
